Home Remedies For Acne
Found In Your Kitchen

Home remedies for acne will help save you money.

Do you have acne and feel like you would do anything to get rid of it?  Most people are affected by acne at some point, usually between the ages of 15 and 25.  If you allow acne to go unchecked, it can leave scars, not only on your skin but also on your sense of self-worth.  If you are young and experiencing acne, you do not have to let it ruin your skin and lower your self-esteem.  There are easy and cheap natural home remedies for acne that can seriously reduce the damage this irritating skin condition can cause.   In this article, you will learn how to stop acne with a few items in your kitchen.

Lemon

Natural home remedies for acne are the best, not only because the work so well, but because they are cheap and easy to find.  One of the most famous natural remedies for acne is lemon juice.  Cut a lemon in half and gently squeeze it on the affected areas of your skin.  Leave it on for ten to fifteen minutes and then wash your face with cool water.  Lemon juice slows down oil production in your skin and helps to bring out a fresh and vibrant look.   You may feel discomfort and a slight itchiness.  Be sure not to scratch your face.  If the itching gets too intense, you should discontinue the treatment.

Baking Soda

Pour some water into a bowl of baking soda and mix into a paste.  To make sure you are not allergic, rub some of the paste on a small area of your skin and leave for a few hours.  If you don’t experience any negative effects, gently rub the paste in a circular motion on your skin and leave it on for a few minutes.  The paste helps to cleanse your skin of the dirt, oil, and grime that has accumulated throughout the day.  Wash with water and pat dry with a towel.

Honey

Are you worried your acne condition is going to leave you with painfully visible scars?  You can prevent that from happening.   All you have to do is spread a spoonful or two of honey on your face and leave the mask on for twenty minutes.  When the honey dries, wash it off thoroughly.  Your skin will look and feel softer, fresher, and cleaner.  Just be careful not to fall asleep with the mask on outdoors or anywhere ants or other creepy crawlers might be attracted to it, or you might wake up with more than you bargained for.

One size fits all.

The important thing to remember when trying out home remedies for acne is that not all remedies work the same for everyone.  Different skin types react uniquely to various forms of treatment.  For this reason, you should not throw in the towel if one of the above home remedies for acne is not working on your skin as advertised.  It is important to experiment and try a few remedies.  The last thing you want to do is give up right before you find the one treatment that will solve your problem.
